THE FRIENDS OF THE LEVITT PAVILION ARLINGTON'S MISSION IS TO PRESENT FREE CONCERTS AND EVENTS EACH YEAR WITH A BROAD-BASED, REGIONAL, NATIONAL, AND INTERNATIONAL MUSICAL ACTS FROM WORLD MUSIC TO JAZZ AND REGGAE AND COUNTRY. IN 2021, 56,703 PEOPLE ATTENDED CONCERTS IN PERSON WHILE 145,203 WERE ABLE TO LIVESTREAM VIEWS OF ONLINE CONCERTS DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. LOCATED IN FOUNDERS PLAZA IN THE HEART OF DOWNTOWN ARLINGTON, THE LEVITT PAVILION'S PROGRAMS PROVIDE OUR COMMUNITY WITH AN ACCESSIBLE GATHERING PLACE FOR FREE MUSIC AND PERFORMING ARTS OPEN TO EVERYONE-ALL AGES, ALL ETHNITICITIES, ALL NEIGHBORHOODS AND ALL INCOME LEVELS, ESPECIALLY THOSE FAMILIES WHO COULD NOT AFFORD TO ENJOY AND BENEFIT FROM MUSIC AND THE PERFORMING ARTS IN ANY OTHER WAY.
