TO ADVOCATE ON BEHALF OF BURN SURVIVORS BY ENCOURAGING PRO-CONSUMER LITIGATION AND VOLUNTEERISM IN BURN ORGANIZATIONS, TO RAISE PUBLIC AWARENESS OF THE UNIQUE NEEDS OF BURN SURVIVORS AND THEIR FAMILIES, AND PROVIDE FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO CHILDREN AND AMERICAN WAR VETERANS IN THEIR REHABILITATION AND REINTEGRATION EFFORTS FOLLOWING A BURN INJURY.

SABABA, ISRAEL'S ONLY CAMP FOR BURN SCARRED CHILDREN. FOUNDED BY BURN ADVOCATES IN 2009 , SABABA HOSTED APPROXIMATELY 45 CHILDREN FROM THE JEWISH AND ARAB SECTORS WITH 30 STAFFERS FROM VARIOUS HOSPITALS TO PROVIDE A UNIQUE PSYCHO-SOCIAL REHABILITATIVE EXPERIENCE WHICH PROMOTES THE REINTEGRATION OF THESE CHILDREN INTO THE MAINSTREAM OF SOCIETY.
MISCELLANEOUS CAMP EXPENSES
CAMP KARMA, INDIA'S FIRST SPECIALIZED CAMP FOR BURN SCARRED CHILDREN IN A COUNTRY WHERE 1.5 MILLION CHILDREN EACH YEAR SUSTAIN SERIOUS BURNS. A DOCUMENTARY OF THIS CAMP WHICH WAS HELD OUTSIDE OF MUMBAI IN DEC 2013 WAS PRODUCED WHICH WILL ENCOURAGE OTHER HOSPITALS TO START SIMILAR PROJECTS.
CAMP SAMBA - ON JULY 21, 2017, BURN ADVOCATES NETWORK, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE BRAZILIAN BURN SOCIETY, OPENED CAMP SAMBA IN A BEAUTIFIED CAMPING SITE OUTSIDE OF SAO PAULO NEAR THE CITY OF CAMPOS DO JORDAO. THIS WAS A VERY EXCITING INTRODUCTION BECAUSE APPROXIMATELY 40 CAMPERS BETWEEN THE AGES OF 5 AND 17 YEARS MET OTHER BURN SURVIVORS WITH THE SAME ISSUE-BURN SCARS.
