SABABA, ISRAEL'S ONLY CAMP FOR BURN SCARRED CHILDREN. FOUNDED BY BURN ADVOCATES IN 2009 , SABABA HOSTED APPROXIMATELY 45 CHILDREN FROM THE JEWISH AND ARAB SECTORS WITH 30 STAFFERS FROM VARIOUS HOSPITALS TO PROVIDE A UNIQUE PSYCHO-SOCIAL REHABILITATIVE EXPERIENCE WHICH PROMOTES THE REINTEGRATION OF THESE CHILDREN INTO THE MAINSTREAM OF SOCIETY.
CAMP KARMA, INDIA'S FIRST SPECIALIZED CAMP FOR BURN SCARRED CHILDREN IN A COUNTRY WHERE 1.5 MILLION CHILDREN EACH YEAR SUSTAIN SERIOUS BURNS. A DOCUMENTARY OF THIS CAMP WHICH WAS HELD OUTSIDE OF MUMBAI IN DEC 2013 WAS PRODUCED WHICH WILL ENCOURAGE OTHER HOSPITALS TO START SIMILAR PROJECTS.
CAMP SAMBA - ON JULY 21, 2017, BURN ADVOCATES NETWORK, IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE BRAZILIAN BURN SOCIETY, OPENED CAMP SAMBA IN A BEAUTIFIED CAMPING SITE OUTSIDE OF SAO PAULO NEAR THE CITY OF CAMPOS DO JORDAO. THIS WAS A VERY EXCITING INTRODUCTION BECAUSE APPROXIMATELY 40 CAMPERS BETWEEN THE AGES OF 5 AND 17 YEARS MET OTHER BURN SURVIVORS WITH THE SAME ISSUE-BURN SCARS.
