NEW DAY PROVIDED 1,437 PATIENTS, CAREGIVERS, SPOUSES AND CHILDREN WITH FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, EMOTIONAL SUPPORT, AND GROCERY ASSISTANCE IN 2021. NEW DAY WORKS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH 63 MICHIGAN HOSPITALS/CANCER CENTERS TO HELP FAMILIES ALLEVIATE FINANCIAL TOXICITY, A HARMFUL SIDE EFFECT OF CANCER THAT CREATES SIGNIFICANT BARRIERS TO TREATMENT AND HEALING. AS NEW DAY EXPERIENCES RAPID GROWTH, THE ORGANIZATION REMAINS RESPONSIVE AND HIGH IMPACT WHILE SCALING PROGRAMS TO MEET DEMAND. THE GROCERY SHOPPING AND DELIVERY PROGRAM PROVIDED NEARLY 22,000 MEALS TO FAMILIES IN 2021, AND THE EMOTIONAL SUPPORT PROGRAM ONBOARDED 10 NEW THERAPISTS TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL COUNSELING SERVICES TO CANCER PATIENTS AND FAMILY MEMBERS REFERRED BY NEW DAY.
