Part 3 - Line 4a

IN 2023, THESE NUMBERS HAVE FACES PROVIDED ACCESS TO A UNIVERSITY EDUCATION FOR 70 STUDENTS. WE ALSO FACILITATED MONTHLY LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS TO EQUIP THEM WITH THE LEADERSHIP AND PROFESSIONAL SKILLS TO BE EFFECTIVE SELFLESS LEADERS WHO MAKE A TRANSFORMATIONAL DIFFERENCE IN THEIR COMMUNITIES. ALL 27 OF OUR SCHOLARS WHO WERE SUPPOSED TO GRADUATE THIS YEAR INDEED COMPLETED THEIR PROGRAMS AND GRADUATED. ALSO, ALL OF OUR OTHER STUDENTS COMPLETED THEIR ACADEMIC YEAR SUCCESSFULLY AND HAVE NOW MOVED ON TO THE NEXT ACADEMIC YEAR. IN THE LAST FIVE YEARS, 98% OF OUR STUDENTS HAVE GRADUATED SUCCESSFULLY FROM UNIVERSITY AND 27% OF OUR STUDENTS HAVE GRADUATED IN THE TOP 10% OF THEIR CLASSES. IN FACT, THE ONLY STUDENTS WHO HAVE NOT GRADUATED SUCCESSFULLY ARE THOSE WHO GREW UP IN REFUGEE CAMPS AND WERE RELOCATED BEFORE GRADUATING. IN THE PAST FIVE YEARS, 77% OF OUR GRADUATES HAVE GOTTEN GOOD JOBS WITHIN TWO YEARS OF GRADUATING -- 77% WITHIN SIX MONTHS. THIS IS SIGNIFICANT BECAUSE IN RWANDA LESS THAN HALF OF UNIVERSITY GRADUATES ARE ABLE TO GET JOBS WITHIN TWO YEARS OF GRADUATING. ALSO, IN THE PAST FIVE YEARS, OUR STUDENTS, THROUGH THEIR COMMUNITY IMPACT PROJECTS HAVE IMPACTED IN TRULY LIFE-CHANGING, SIGNIFICANT WAYS THE LIVES OF ALMOST 30,000 PEOPLE WITHIN THEIR HOME COMMUNITIES. IN 2023, 57% OF OUR STUDENTS WERE WOMEN.
