PARTNERS IN PROGRESS WORKS WITH RURAL COMMUNITIES IN HAITI TO STRENGTHEN CULTURAL, SOCIAL, ECONOMIC AND ENVIRONMENTAL ASSETS FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT. SIGNIFICANT ACTIVITIES PROVIDE MATERIAL RESOURCES,TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND COLLABORATED IN COORDINATION OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS AND COMMUNITY-LED CRISIS RESPONSE. THIS INCLUDES: REBUILDING FOOD SOVREIGNITY THROUGH FARMER-TO-FARMER EDUCATION AND INNOVATION IN REGENERATIVE AGROECOLOGY AND VALUE CHAIN DEVELOPMENT; FARM-TO-SCHOOL CHILD NUTRITION; EARTH BLOCK SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION; ORPHANAGE OPERATIONS; SCHOOL ENERGY, TECHNOLOGY ACCESS AND OPERATIONS; AND COMMUNITY-LED COVID-19 AND EARTHQUAKE RELIEF.

PROVIDED MATERIAL RESOURCES, TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND COLLABORATED IN COORDINATION OF SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS AND COMMUNITY-LED RESPONSE. THREE MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDED: 1) AGROECOLOGY FOR FOOD SOVREIGNITY - 127 FARMERS PRACTICING REGENERATIVE AGROECOLOGY ACROSS 14 VILLAGES IN HAITI AND UGANDA, WITH 77% REPORTING INCREASED PRODUCTION AND CROP DIVERSITY; 2) COMMUNITY-LED CRISIS RESPONSE - FOOD RELIEF FOR 5 EARTHQUAKE IMPACTED COMMUNITIES; AND 3) GREEN BUILDING SCHOOL CONSTRUCTION PROJECT - INCLUDING INSTALLATION OF SOLAR SYSTEM, PROVIDING SAFE, HEALTHY SCHOOL FACILITY FOR 168 RURAL CHILDREN, AS WELL AS TRAINING AND JOBS IN COMPRESSED EARTH BLOCK CONSTRUCTION.
