THE HAMPDEN YOUTH BASEBALL ASSOCIATION (HBYA) OFFERS SUPERVISED BASEBALL PROGRAMS FOR HAMPDEN TOWNSHIP YOUTH AGES 5 THROUGH 18. THE ASSOCIATION HAS APPROXIMATELY 50 TEAMS AND MORE THAN 550 BASEBALL PLAYERS. IN ADDITION TO REGULAR SPRING BASEBALL SEASON, THE HYBA ALSO PROVIDES OPPORTUNITIES FOR YOUTH TO PARTICIPATE IN BASEBALL CLINICS, REGIONAL SUMMER ALL-STAR TOURNAMENTS, AND FALL BASEBALL PROGRAMS. THE HYBA'S INSTRUCTIONAL, MINOR, AND MAJOR LEAGUE PROGRAMS HAVE BEEN PLAYING UNDER THE CHARTER OF LITTLE LEAGUE BASEBALL SINCE 2002.
