SAFETY ON ROADS BY ENCOURAGEMENT OF AND INSTRUCTION IN SAFE DRIVING TECHNIQUES DRIVER TRAINING IS OFFERED IN SEVERAL FORMATS

A TOTAL OF 384 PARTICIPANTS WERE INVOLVED IN THREE DRIVING SCHOOL EVENTS. THE PURPOSE OF THE DRIVER TRAINING IS TO TEACH SAFE DRIVING TECHNIQUES THAT BENEFIT BOTH THE STUDENT AND OTHER HIGHWAY USERS BY IMPROVING THE LEVEL OF SKILL AND ENHANCING THE STUDENT'S RESPECT FOR OTHER USERS OF THE HIGHWAYS. BOTH ACTIVE AND PASSIVE INSTRUCTION ARE PROVIDED; ACTIVE INSTRUCTION IS ONLY PROVIDED IN CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENTS ON PRIVATE PROPERTY WHERE ACCESS CAN BE RESTRICTED TO THE PARTICIPANTS. INSTRUCTION IS PROVIDED BY VOLUNTEERS WHO ARE MEMBERS OF THE ORGANIZATION.


FUNDRAISING EVENTS TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE PITTSBURGH VINTAGE GRAND PRIX, A 501(C)(3). THROUGH THE PARTICIPATION OF THE ORGANIZATION, WE ARE ABLE TO RAISE SIGNIFICANT FUNDS FOR THE PITTSBURGH VINTAGE GRAND PRIX. ALL EVENTS ARE ORGANIZED AND MANAGED BY VOLUNTEER MEMBERS
