RESIDENTIAL AND DOMESTIC SERVICES (FOOD, CLOTHING, SHELTER) FOR THE MENTALLY ILL HOMELESS. DONATED GOODS AND SERVICES AMOUNTED TO $125,000. COMMUNITY OF CARING OPERATED 24 HOURS/DAY, 7 DAYS/WEEK. THE AGENCY PROVIDED 10,146 NIGHTS OF SHELTER FOR 342 UNDUPLICATED PERSONS. DURING THAT TIME 32,402 MEALS AND SNACKS WERE SERVED TO RESIDENTS AND THE COMMUNITY AT LARGE. THE AGENCY HELPED 21 MEN OBTAIN PERMANENT HOUSING.
RENTAL PROPERTIES - COMMUNITY OF CARING PROVIDES TRANSITIONAL HOUSING WHICH HELPS MEN MOVE FROM THE EMERGENCY SHELTER INTO EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE HOUSING WHERE THEY SIGN A LEASE, PAY RENT MONTHLY, AND ASSUME ALL RESPONSIBILITIES FOR INDEPENDENT LIVING.
