TO PROVIDE A POSITIVE OPPORTUNITY FOR MEMBERS ATHLETES TO PARTICIPATE IN A COMPETITIVE SWIM PROGRAM, WHILE ALSO PROMOTING THE LIFETIME SPORT OF SWIMMING. THE CLUB ALSO PROVIDES THE OPPORTUNITY FOR CHILDREN TO LEARN THE BASIC TECHNIQUES OF SWIMMING IN A NONCOMPETITIVE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT.

THE CLUB ENROLLED SWIMMERS YEAR-ROUND TO DEVELOP STROKE AND TURNING TECHNIQUES AND PROVIDE THE OPPORTUNITY FOR SWIMMERS TO PARTICIPATE IN COMPETITIVE SWIM MEETS. THE CLUB ALSO ENROLLED COLLEGIATE SWIMMERS WHO TRAINED WITH THE CLUB DURING THEIR BREAKS FROM COLLEGE AND ALSO PRE-COMPETITIVE SWIMMERS WHO ADVANCED FROM THE LESSONS PROGRAM BUT WERE NOT READY TO PARTICIPATE IN A COMPETITIVE SWIM MEET.
THE CLUB PROVIDED SWIMMING CLINICS, DIVING CLINICS, SMALL GROUP LESSONS, PRIVATE SWIM LESSONS AND MASTER PROGRAM THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
THE CLUB ENROLLED PARTICIPANTS IN A RED CROSS-SPONSORED LIFESAVING/CPR PROGRAM WHICH ENABLED THE PARTICIPANTS TO BECOME CERTIFIED FOR LIFEGUARDING AT POOLS.
