THE CHAMBER CONTINUES ITS PROMOTION OF THE NORTH EAST AREA AS A TOURIST DESTINATION BY FACILITATING THE "WINE FESTIVAL." "THE "WINE FESTIVAL" BRINGS IN THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE TO THE AREA, WHO SPEND HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN LOCAL RETAIL OUTLETS AND EATERIES. ADDITIONALLY, THE CHAMBER'S RETAIL, GOVERNMENT/COMMUNITY AFFAIRS AND INDUSTRIAL DIVISIONS MEET AND REACH OUT TO LOCAL BUSINESSES, GOVERNMENTS AND RESIDENTS TO PROMOTE THE COMMUNITIES CURRENT BUSINESSES AND DEVELOPING THE PROPER ENVIRONMENT FOR ATTRACTING NEW ONES. THE CHAMBER'S NEWSLETTER KEEPS THE COMMUNITY AWARE OF ALL THE EVENTS HAPPENING IN THE AREA AND ANY CHANGES THAT MIGHT OCCUR IN LOCAL BUSINESSES.
