THE SCA OFFERS AND/OR IS INVOLVED WITH THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS TO INDIVIDUALS SUFFERING THE EFFECTS OF SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER: LEVEL OF CARE ASSESSMENT, CASE COORDINATION, INTERMEDIATE PUNISHMENT PROGRAMS, STUDENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM, RECOVERY SUPPORT SERVICES, AND CASE COORDINATION FOR MEDICATED ASSISTED TREATMENT REFERRALS. THE FOLLOWING LEVELS OF CARE WERE AVAILABLE TO CONSUMERS: OUTPATIENT, INTENSIVE OUTPATIENT, PARTIAL HOSPITALIZATION, HALFWAY HOUSE, NON-HOSPITAL BASED RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT AND DETOXIFICATION, METHADONE MAINTENANCE, ENHANCED MEDICATION-ASSISTED TREATMENT, AND HOSPITAL BASED RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT AND DETOXIFICATION. 516 UNDUPLICATED CONSUMERS WERE PROVIDED TREATMENT SERVICES.
THE COMMISSION FUNDS PREVENTION SERVICES TO REDUCE THE USE OF AND DEPENDENCE ON ALCOHOL, TOBACCO, AND OTHER DRUGS IN ARMSTRONG, INDIANA, AND CLARION COUNTIES. OVER 3,124 HOURS OF DIRECT SERVICE WERE PROVIDED IN THE FOLLOWING SIX PREVENTION CATEGORIES: INFORMATION DISSEMINATION, EDUCATION, ALTERNATIVE ACTIVITIES, PROBLEM IDENTIFICATION AND REFERRAL, COMMUNITY-BASED PROCESS, AND ENVIRONMENTAL.
THE COMMISSION FUNDS INTERVENTION SERVICES WHICH ARE AIMED AT ASSISTING CLIENTS IN ARMSTRONG, INDIANA, AND CLARION COUNTIES IN COPING WITH A CRISIS SITUATION IN THEIR LIFE AND PROVIDING SUPPORT. INTERVENTION SERVICES INCLUDED FUNDING FAMILY EDUCATION GROUP MEETINGS, HEP C SUPPORT GROUPS, OVERDOSE TASK FORCE MEETINGS, WARM-LINE SERVICES, AND NALOXONE SUPPLIES.
