THE WESTMORELAND COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY PURSUES ITS MISSION BY: 1. MANAGING A HISTORICAL SITE, HISTORIC HANNA'S TOWN, VISITED BY APPROXIMATELY 25,000 ANNUALLY, INCLUDING PROVIDING GUIDED TOURS, CONDUCTING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND MAINTAINING ITS ARCHAEOLOGICAL COLLECTION OF OVER 1 MILLION ARTIFACTS. 2. MAINTAINING A 5,000 VOLUME NON-CIRCULATING RESEARCH LIBRARY OF GENEALOGICAL AND LOCAL COUNTY AND REGIONAL MATERIALS. 3. PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS AND PROGRAMS TO SCHOOLS AND TEACHERS, ADULTS, CHILDREN, AND FAMILY PROGRAMS ON A BROAD RANGE OF HISTORCIAL TOPICS. 4.
