THE MISSION OF THE WASHINGTON COUNTY TOURISM PROMOTION AGENCY IS TO PROVIDE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BY ATTRACTING TOURISM TO THE COUNTY. ACCOMPLISHMENTS INCLUDE PROMOTION OF THE AREA AND PR CAMPAIGNS TO EDUCATE POSSIBLE TOURISTS ABOUT THE AREA. SPECIAL EVENTS ARE HELD FEATURING COUNTY ATTRACTIONS, AN ATTRACTION GUIDE AND NEWSLETTERS ARE PUBLISHED, AND GRANTS ARE PROVIDED TO ORGANIZATIONS IN ORDER TO PROVIDE FUNDING TO PROMOTE AND DEVELOP TOURISM IN WASHINGTON COUNTY, PA.
