AN ANNUAL MEETING IS HELD ONCE A YEAR AND IS A MAJOR SCIENTIFIC EVENT, WHICH PROVIDES CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR 900+ PROFESSIONAL MEMBERS AND STUDENT TRAINEES, ALONG WITH THE OPPORTUNITY FOR COMMITTEES TO MEET AND DELIBERATE.
OTHER PROGRAMS INCLUDE THE AAVLD LABORATORY FOUNDATION, WHICH PROVIDES STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS, RESIDENCY PROGRAMS, AND RESEARCH PROGRAMS IN DIAGNOSTIC MEDICINE.
