SERVE THE UNITED STATES TENNIS ASSOCIATION, INC.'S (USTA) INDIVIDUAL AND ORGANIZATIONAL MEMBERS, AS WELL AS THE GENERAL PUBLIC, WITHIN THE GEOGRAPHICAL AREA DESIGNATED BY USTA WITHOUT REGARD TO RACE, CREED, COLOR, SEX, OR NATIONAL ORIGIN.

COMMUNITY TENNIS PROVIDES FUNDING FOR RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS THAT INVOLVE LOCAL YOUTH LEAGUES AND SCHOOL PROGRAMS THROUGHOUT OUR SECTION. THIS INVOLVES TRAINING COACHES AND TEACHERS TO RUN THE PROGRAMS. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT EFFORTS INCLUDE GRANTS TO SUPPORT ALL TYPES OF TENNIS ACTIVITIES, ATTRACTING A DIVERSE POPULATION TO TENNIS, AND PUBLIC TENNIS GRANTS FOR PROGRAMS AND FACILITIES.
LOCAL UNITED STATES TENNIS ASSOCIATION LEAGUES THROUGHOUT OUR SECTION ALLOW ADVANCEMENT TO SECTION AND NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS. TRAINING AND GRANTS ARE GIVEN TO SUPPORT THESE EFFORTS.
OUR JUNIOR COMPETITION EVENTS ARE FUN AND ORGANIZED PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO HELP YOUTH REACH THEIR TENNIS POTENTIAL. MANY ARE INVOLVED IN TOURNAMENT PLAY, REGIONAL TEAM PLAY AND ATTEND COMPETITION TRAINING CENTERS. WE PROVIDE FUNDING AND TRAINING FOR COACHES AND OFFICIALS AND HOLD VARIOUS TOURNAMENTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR.
