INDUSTRY & MEMBERSHIP PROMOTION:THE MINNESOTA RESORT & CAMPGROUND ASSOCIATION (MRCA) IS A RESPECTED AND INFLUENTIAL LEADER AND AN ADVOCATE FOR RESORT AND CAMPGROUND BUSINESSES IN MINNESOTA. EDUCATION:THE ASSOCIATION CO-SPONSORS CLASSES FOR FOOD SAFETY TRAINING THROUGH THE NATIONAL RESTAURANT ASSOCIATION'S SERVSAFE FOOD PROTECTION MANAGER CERTIFICATION PROGRAM AND FOR THE RE-CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MINNESOTA FOOD MANAGER'S LICENSE. THE 2019 HOSPITALITY MINNESOTA CONFERENCE AND EXPO HAD 600 INDUSTRY PROFESSIONALS PARTICIPATE IN 10 SEMINARS ON VARIOUS HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY TOPICS. THE MRCA SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM AWARDED SIX SCHOLARSHIPS TOTALING $3,000 IN 2019 TO STUDENTS WITH A CONNECTION TO A MINNESOTA RESORT OR CAMPGROUND.
