THE ORGANIZATION'S INITIATIVES FOCUS ON EDUCATION THROUGH MENTORING, WEALTH BUILDING STRATEGIES, FOSTERING ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT & RAISING AWARENESS OF HEALTH ISSUES AFFECTING OUR COMMUNITIES.

DYCD JOH PROGRAM THE MENTORS MATTER PROGRAM SERVED 600 STUDENTS, PROVIDED 12,000 HOURS OF MENTORING, AND ENGAGED YOUNG PEOPLE IN PROGRAMS AND TRIPS TO BUILD LEADERSHIP SKILLS, EXPLORE CAREERS, PROMOTE CULTURAL UNDERSTANDING,AND FOSTER STRONG CHARACTER.
JR 100 / EDUCATION & SCHOLARSHIP- PROVIDED SCHOLARSHIPS AND MONTHLY MENTORING FOR 35 STUDENTS.ALL STUDENTS GRADUATED OR ARE ON TRACK FOR GRADUATION.
HUNGER RELIEF OHBM PARTNERED WITH 20 CHURCHES, NONPROFIT, AND ARTS ORGANIZATIONS TO PROVIDE NUTRITIOUS MEALS TO FEED APPROXIMATELY 8,000 PEOPLE FROM THROUGHOUT NYC. THESE EFFORTS WERE SUPPLEMENTED WITH THE FREE DISTRIBUTION OF MASKS, HAND SANITIZER AND OTHER PPE ITEMS.
