SUPPORT FOR DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITIES TO SUPPORT THE MCCULLOUGH-HYDE MEMORIAL HOSPITAL: THE FOUNDATION REPRESENTS THE INTERESTS OF THE COMMUNITIES SERVED BY MCCULLOUGH-HYDE MEMORIAL HOSPITAL AND SERVES AS A CONDUIT BETWEEN COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND DONORS AND THE HOSPITAL AS IT RELATES TO PHILANTHROPY AND ENGAGEMENT. THE EFFORTS OF THE FOUNDATION OVER THE YEARS HAS PRODUCED AN ENDOWMENT OF $21.4 MILLION, WITH $15.6 MILLION UNRESTRICTED AND $5.8 MILLION DESIGNATED.
SUPPORT FOR HEALTH PROGRAMS: THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED SUPPORT FOR HOSPITAL STRATEGIC ADVANCEMENTS AND CURRENT NEEDS THAT SUPPORTED THE COMMUNITIES IN BUTLER COUNTY, OHIO, FRANKLIN COUNTY, INDIANA, PREBLE COUNTY, OHIO, UNION COUNTY, INDIANA AND OTHER ANCILLARY COMMUNITIES CERVED BY THE HOSPITAL. SUPPORT FOR HOSPITAL BUILDING AND EQUIPMENT: THE FOUNDATION PROVIDED SUPPORT FOR ONGOING BUILDING AND EQUIPMENT NEEDS AT MCCULLOUGH-HYDE MEMORIAL HOSPITAL TO ENSURE A MODERN, UP-YO-DATE AND SAFE FACILITIES. FACILITIES UPGRADES RELATED TO THE PUBLIC AREAS OF THE HOSPITAL, LABORATORY, CLINICS, INPATIENT CARE UNIT, EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT, CRITICAL CARE UNIT AND OBSTRUCTS UNIT HAVE RESULTED IN HIGHER QUALITY HEALTHCARE AND SAFETY. ADDITIONAL BUILDING NEEDS RELATED TO THE UPKEEP OF A COMPRESSIVE HOSPITAL WERE ALSO SUPPORTED TO ENSURE THE PHYSICAL STRUCTURE REMAINS VIABLE.
