MEMBERSHIP - AAPLOG WAS FOUNDED IN 1973 AND GREW QUICKLY IN RECENT YEARS, MORE THAN TRIPLING ITS MEMBERSHIP, NOW NUMBERING OVER 7,000. WE PROVIDE NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES FOR MEMBERS AND MENTORSHIP FOR STUDENTS, AS WELL AS VIGOROUS DEFENSE OF OUR MEMBERS CONSCIENCE RIGHTS.


RESEARCH - AAPLOG PRODUCES PEER-REVIEWED RESEARCH ON THE EFFECTS OF ABORTION ON WOMEN AND SUPPORTS RESEARCH AT ACADEMIC INSTITUTIONS.


EDUCATION - OUR ORGANIZATION DEVELOPS PRACTICE BULLETINS AND COMMITTEE OPINIONS GUIDING BEST PRACTICES FOR MEDICAL CARE FOR OUR PATIENTS AND THEIR PRE-BORN CHILDREN.
