GRANTS TO VARIOUS LIONS CLUBS IN VIRGINIA FOR SPOT VISION SCREENERS. THESE SCREENERS ALLOW THE LIONS CLUBS TO SCREEN YOUNG CHILDREN FOR VARIOUS VISION ISSUES. WHEN ISSUES ARE DETECTED, THE CHILD'S FAMILY IS REFERRED FOR APPROPRIATE MEDICAL CARE. THE SCREENINGS ARE DONE IN SCHOOLS, DAY CARE CENTERS OR ANY VENUE WHERE THERE ARE YOUNG CHILDREN. SCREENINGS ARE FREE.
