THE SIUE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION (AA) FOSTERS THE ADVANCEMENT OF SIUE ALUMNI AND STRIVES TO SUPPORT SIUE, ITS STUDENTS, AND THE COMMUNITY. AA ENDEAVORS TO ENGAGE, EDUCATE, AND EMPOWER THE MORE THAN 115,000 SIUE GRADUATES FOR LIFE. AA FULFILLS THIS MISSION THROUGH EVENTS HELD LOCALLY AND IN TARGETED AREAS AROUND THE COUNTRY TO BRING ALUMNI TOGETHER IN FELLOWSHIP AND DISCUSSIONS CENTERED AROUND FURTHERING THE MISSION OF SIUE. AA ALSO FULFILLS ITS MISSION VIA THE SIUE ALUMNI MAGAZINE (ECONNECTION) MAILED TO ALUMNI ONCE PER YEAR UPDATING ALUMNI ON CAMPUS DEVELOPMENTS AND ALUMNI EVENTS. AA SENDS AN ELECTRONIC NEWSLETTER SEVERAL TIMES A YEAR TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL INFORMATION OF INTEREST. AA PROVIDES ALUMNI WITH A WIDE RANGE OF BENEFITS SUCH AS REDUCED FEES AT THE SIUE FITNESS CENTER, THE ARTS & ISSUES SERIES, THE CAREER DEVELOPMENT CENTER, AND SIUE COUGAR ATHLETIC EVENTS.
