THE ONE HUNDRED CLUB OF SAN ANTONIO IS A TEXAS NON-PROFIT CORPORATION FORMED IN 1973. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES TO ASSIST SURVIVOR SPOUSES AND CHILDREN OF LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS, FIREFIGHTERS, AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL PERSONNEL WHOSE LIVES ARE LOST IN THE LINE OF DUTY WHILE SERVING THE CITIZENS OF BEXAR COUNTY, TEXAS. CERTAIN PROGRAMS MAY ENCOMPASS FIRST RESPONDERS AND FIRST RESPONDER FAMILIES IN GEOGRAPHICAL AREAS OUTSIDE OF BEXAR COUNTY. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS, GIFTS, AND AWARDS TO SURVIVORS.

THE ONE HUNDRED CLUB OF SAN ANTONIO IS ORGANIZED TO ENGAGE IN ALL ACTIVITIES NECESSARY, USEFUL OR EXPEDIENT TO ENCOURAGE, PROMOTE, AND ENCHANCE EFFECTIVE LAW ENFORCEMENT AND FIREFIGHTING / EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES IN BEXAR COUNTY, TEXAS. FIRST AND FOREMOST, WE SERVE THE SURVIVING DEPENDENT FAMILIES OF THOSE LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS AND FIREFIGHTING / EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES TECHNICIANS IN BEXAR COUNTY, TEXAS LOST IN THE LINE OF DUTY. SINCE 1973, WHEN THEIR JOBS BRING OUR POLICE AND FIREFIGHTERS INTO HARM'S WAY AND THEY PAY THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE WITH THEIR LIVES, THE ONE HUNDRED CLUB OF SAN ANTONIO IS THERE. FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE TO THE FAMILIES FOR THEIR IMMEDIATE NEEDS. WE PLACE A STRONG EMPHASIS ON FUNDING HIGHER EDUCATION FOR THEIR CHILDREN. THE ONE HUNDRED CLUB IS CITIZEN-BASED AND NOT AFFILIATED WITH ANY POLICE, FIRE OR GOVERNMENTAL AGENCY. THE ONE HUNDRED CLUB MAY ALSO SERVE THE FAMILIES OF INJURED LAW-ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS, FIREFIGHTERS & EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIANS. WE SERVE ALL LAW-ENFORCEMENT & FIRE IN BEXAR COUNTY. THIS INCLUDES ALL DEPARTMENTS IN BEXAR COUNTY, NOT ONLY SAN ANTONIO POLICE, FIRE AND SHERIFF'S BUT ALL SMALLER DEPARTMENTS LOCATED WITHIN BEXAR COUNTY. WE ALSO SERVE ALL STATE OFFICERS SUCH AS TEXAS RANGERS, DPS, FISH & WILDLIFE PLUS ALL FEDERAL OFFICERS BASED IN BEXAR COUNTY SUCH AS U.S. MARSHALLS, FBI, ICE ETC..., EVEN CIVILIAN MILITARY POLICE. IF A LAW-ENFORCEMENT OR FIRE OFFICAL IS BASED IN BEXAR COUNTY, THE ONE HUNDRED CLUB IS THERE TO SERVE THEIR FAMILIES DURING THEIR TIME OF TRAGEDY. CERTAIN PROGRAMS MAY ENCOMPASS FIRST RESPONDERS AND FIRST RESPONDER FAMILIES IN GEOGRAPHICAL AREAS OUTSIDE OF BEXAR COUNTY.
THE ONE HUNDRED CLUB SA WELLNESS PROGRAM/COPING COUNSELING AND MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS PROGRAMS MAY ALLOW FIRST RESPONDERS, FIRST RESPONDER FAMILIES AND APPROPRIATE PARTICIPANTS FROM BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE 13 COUNTIES COVERED BY THE ALAMO AREA COUNCILS OF GOVERNMENTS. THE ORGANIZATION ALONG WITH THE SUPPORT OF SAN ANTONIO BEHAVIORAL HEALTH STARTED A SUPPORT GROUP FOR ONE HUNDRED CLUB FAMILIES. IN TIME, WE HOPE TO EXPAND TO SUPPORT GROUPS FOR OUR LAW-ENFORCEMENT AND FIREFIGHTING/EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIANS AND THEIR FAMILIES. THESE PROGRAMS WILL ALSO INCLUDE SUICIDE PREVENTION AND ALCOHOL REHABILITATION.
