PREVENTION AND EDUCATIONEACF HAS EXPANDED ITS PREVENTION AND EDUCATION PROGRAMS WORLDWIDE THROUGH THE USE OF ONLINE TECHNOLOGY. OVER FOUR MILLION PEOPLE IN OVER 150 COUNTRIES ARE REACHED EACH MONTH WITH EPILEPSY NEWS, EDUCATION AND SUPPORT. THERE WERE 156 IN PERSON PROGRAMS GIVEN IN 2020, OFFERING ACCURATE AND TIMELY INFORMATION ON EPILEPSY TO PUBLIC GROUPS, SCHOOLS, TEACHERS, MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS, EMPLOYERS, FAMILY MEMBERS, SOCIAL SERVICE PROFESSIONALS AND MORE. THIS IS ACCOMPLISHED THROUGH THE EMPLOYMENT OF A FULL-TIME HEALTH EDUCATOR.
