TO PROVIDE LIFELONG EDUCATION SUPPORT AND RESOURCES TO INDIVIDUALS WITH DOWN SYNDROME THEIR FAMILIES AND THE COMMUNITIES THEY LIVE WITHIN

NURTURES LIFELONG LEARNING IN ADULTS WITH DOWN SYNDROME. OUR PROGRAM OFFERS INSTRUCTION TRAINING & COACHING IN THE AREAS OF BASIC LIVING COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION AND HOME ACADEMIC AND PRE-VOCATIONAL SKILLS. IN BEHAVIOR BEHAVIOR MODELING INSTRUCTION & COACHING ARE PROVIDED TO ADDRESS PROBLEMATIC BEHAVIORS THAT PREVENT & INHIBIT INDIVIDUAL SUCCESS AND PERFORMANCE. OUR PROGRAM WAS SCHEDULED 5 DAYS A WEEK FROM 8AM TO 6PM. PROGRAM HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED DUE TO LOW ATTENDANCE DURING COVID THAT HAS NEVER RECOVERED. PROGRAM WAS CLOSED ON OCT 31 2022


ORGANIZE ANNUAL BUDDY WALK FESTIVAL TO RAISE PUBLIC AWARENESS FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH DOWN SYNDROME AND PROVIDE OPPORTUNITY TO ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF THEIR LIVES AND BECOME ACCEPTED AS A PART OF OUR VERY DIVERSE COMMUNITY.
