ALTO THURSDAY STUDY CLUB WAS FORMED TO MANAGE THE STELLA HILL MEMORIAL LIBRARY, ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN A MEMBERSHIP OF PERSONS AND BUSINESSES SUPPORTIVE OF THE LIBRARY, STIMULATE THE USE OF THE LIBRARY'S FACILITIES, RESOURCES AND SERVICES, SUPPORT THE LIBRARY IN DEVELOPING, MAINTAINING AND ENHANCING FACILITIES AND SERVICES FOR THE PUBLIC, ENCOURAGE GIFTS, ENDOWMENTS, MEMORIALS AND BEQUESTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE LIBRARY, BUILD A GREATER REALIZATION OF THE IMPORTANCE OF THE LIBRARY AND HELP ENSURE ITS PERPETUTITY, AND TO PROVIDE A MEDIUM THROUGH WHICH PATRONS CAN BECOME ACQUAINTED WITH ONE ANOTHER AND SHARE THEIR MUTUAL ENTHUSIASM FOR THE READING AND STUDY OF BOOKS.
