TO PRESERVE, HONOR AND PERPETUATE THE LIVING LEGACY OF THE TEXAS RANGERS BY CELEBRATING THEIR HISTORY AND DEMONSTRATING THE EXTRAORDINARY QUALITIES OF CHARACTER EMBODIED BY THE RANGERS THAT HAVE HELPED SHAPE THE STATE OF TEXAS AND OPENED THE AMERICAN WEST.

Part 3 - Line 4a

TO FURTHER THE EDUCATIONAL MISSION OF THE FOUNDATION, A WEBSITE IS BEING DEVELOPED TO DELIVER AN ON-LINE HISTORY PROGRAM FOR STUDENTS IN THE 4TH AND 7TH GRADES. EXPENSES IN THE CURRENT YEAR WERE FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THE WEBSITE AND TRAVEL TO PROMOTE THE PROGRAM TO SCHOOL DISTRICTS. THE PROGRAM FEATURES LESSON PLANS, VIDEOS AND OTHER EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS TO TEACH CHILDREN ABOUT THE TEXAS RANGERS AND THEIR PLACE IN HISTORY. TO PROVIDE A SCHOLARSHIP TO A STUDENT ENROLLED FULL TIME IN A COLLEGE OR UNIVERSITY WHO IS A SON OR DAUGHTER OF AN ACTIVE TEXAS RANGER. SCHOLARSHIPS GRANTED,
