EDUCATIONAL AND SUPPORT PROGRAMMING: THERE WERE 2,326 ATTENDEES OF 34 DIFFERENT FREE GROUPS, WORKSHOPS, AND CLASSES FOR A TOTAL OF 660 SESSIONS IN 2022. GROUPS INCLUDED TRAUMA SUPPORT GROUP, SPANISH-ENGLISH CONVERSATION, 65+ DISCUSSION GROUP, WRITING AND JOURNALING WORKSHOPS, KNITTING, SEWING, AND ART CLASSES TO NAME A FEW.


DROP-IN RESOURCE AND SUPPORT CENTER: 2,614 VISITORS PARTICIPATED IN THE DROP-IN CENTER IN 2022. THIS INCLUDED: USE OF THE WOMEN'S CENTER FOR REFUGE, EMOTIONAL SUPPORT AND ASSISTANCE WITH COMPUTERS; RESOURCE INFORMATION; USE OF THE KITCHEN, COMPUTER LABS, PHONE, FAX MACHINE, COPIER, ART ROOM AND LENDING LIBRARY; MATERIAL GOODS, INCLUDING T PASSES, PREPARED FOOD; TOILET PAPER, HAND WARMERS OTHER MATERIAL GOODS.


THE SURVIVOR THEATRE PROJECT'S MISSION IS TO EMPOWER SURVIVORS WITH TOOLS TO HEAL FROM SEXUAL VIOLENCE THROUGH ARTISTIC EXPRESSION, SOCIAL JUSTICE ACTIVISM, COMMUNITY AND EMPOWERMENT. IT OFFERS ART-BASED WORKSHOPS, HEALING RESOURCES, AND ARTISTIC MENTORSHIP TO BLACK, INDIGENOUS, PEOPLE OF COLOR (BIPOC), QUEER AND TRANS-FOLK, WOMEN, NON-BINARY, AND DISABLED SURVIVORS WHO SEEK HEALING, SUPPORT AND AFFIRMATION. THE SURVIVOR THEATRE PROJECT IS SUPPORTED BY STATE AND LOCAL FUNDING ORGANIZATIONS AND BY COMMITTED DONORS. CAMBRIDGE WOMEN'S CENTER IS THE FISCAL SPONSOR.
