THE LODGE IS A LOCAL ORGANIZATION WHOSE MISSION IS TO PROVIDE SUPPORT FOR YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS, DISABLED CITIZENS, VETERANS, STUDENTS AND NEEDY CITIZENS WHO ASK FOR ASSISTANCE.

HANDICAPPED CHILDREN - THE LODGE IS ACTIVE IN HELPING CHILDREN AND ADULTS WHO WERE BORN WITH OR ACQUIRED DISABILITIES. THE LODGE HAS SUPPLIED MEDICALLY NECESSARY CLOTHING AND EQUIPMENTWHEN NEEDED AND ALSO REQUIRED THERAPY TREATMENTS. THE TOWN OFFICE OF THE DISABLED MAKES THE LODGE AWARE OF RESIDENTS NEEDING ASSISTANCE. THE LODGE ALSO SUBSIDIZES SOCIAL FUNCTIONS FOR SPECIAL NEED RESIDENTS AND IT HOSTS THE ANNUAL DISABILITIES AWARENESS DAY AT NO CHARGE TO THE ORGANIZER. THE LODGE ALSO PARTICIPATES IN DISTRICT AND STATE HANDICAP PROJECTS.


YOUTH ACTIVITIES - THE LODGE PROVIDES SPONSORSHIP TO LITTLE LEAGUE AND YOUTH SPORTS TEAMS. IT ALSO HOLDS ANNUAL COMPETITIONS FOR BASEBALL, BASKETBALL AND SOCCER WITH WINNERS ADVANCING TO DISTRICT COMPETITION. THE ANNUAL SPORTS DAY CHALLENGES CHILDREN FOR 5 TO 18 YEARS OF AGE IN THREE SPORTS, AND IT DRAWS CLOSE TO 100 PARTICIPANTS. CHILDREN RECEIVE SHIRTS, SNACKS AND AWARDS FOR THE WINNERS. THE LODGE ALSO SPONSORS STUDENTS TO LEADERSHIP CONFERENCES AND CONTRIBUTES TO VARIOUS HIGH SCHOOL ACTIVITIES.


SOCIAL AND COMMUNITY WELFARE - THE LODGE OFTEN GETS CALLED UPON TO ASSIST RESIDENTS IN DISTRESS. THESE CITIZENS MAYBE VICTIMS OF FIRES OR SUFFERING FROM JOB LOSS OR HAVE OTHER REASONS FOR ASSISTANCE. THE LODGE ALSO DISTRIBUTES DOZENS OF FOOD BASKETS ACROSS TOWN TO THE NEEDY FOR HOLIDAYS OR IF REQUESTED. DONATIONS ARE ALSO MADE TO THE NOT-FOR-PROFIT CLUBS TO HELP THEM COMPLETE THEIR CHARITABLE MISSIONS.
