THE MARION PLAYERS INC DBA OCALA CIVIC THEATRE IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT COMMUNITY THEATRE DEVOTED TO PROVIDING QUALITY LIVE THEATRE TO UPLIFT, INSPIRE, AND ENTERTAIN OUR COMMUNITY THROUGH EXCEPTIONAL THEATRICAL EXPERIENCES AND PERFORMING ARTS EDUCATION.

BOX OFFICE & SEASON TICKETS - OPERATES AS THE OCALA CIVIC THEATRE TO PROMOTE IN THE COMMUNITY DRAMATIC PRODUCTIONS. DURING THE 2021-2022 SEASON, THE THEATRE PRODUCED MAINSTAGE PRODUCTIONS WITH A COMBINED TOTAL OF 105 PERFORMANCES FOR 20,335 ATTENDEES. IN ADDITION, THERE WERE SPECIAL EVENT PRODUCTIONS WITH A COMBINED TOTAL OF 7 PERFORMANCES FOR 900 ATTENDEES.
EDUCATION & ENRICHMENT - THE EDUCATION AND ENRICHMENT DEPARTMENT PROVIDED FOR TOUR GROUPS, GOLDEN TROUPERS, SECOND STAGE PRODUCTIONS AND VARIOUS YOUTH PROGRAMS. THEATER FOR YOUNG AUDIENCES PRODUCED 3 PRODUCTIONS WITH A COMBINED TOTAL OF 10 PERFORMANCES FOR 1,222 ATTENDEES. IN ADDITION, THE DEPARTMENT'S WORKSHOPS AND OUTREACH PROJECTS HAD 1,869 ATTENDEES AT 57 DIFFERENT WORKSHOPS AND PROJECTS.
