THE MISSION OF NATIONAL ELEVATOR INDUSTRY EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM (NEIEP) IS DESCRIBED IN SCHEDULE O.*THE MISSION OF NATIONAL ELEVATOR INDUSTRY EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM (NEIEP) IS TO IMPROVE THE KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS OF INDUSTRY MEMBERS, NOT ONLY FOR THEIR BENEFIT, BUT FOR THE BENEFIT OF THEIR EMPLOYER AND INDUSTRY. THE PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM IS TO SUPPORT THROUGH EMPLOYER CONTRIBUTIONS TO A TRUST FUND, EDUCATION AND TRAINING PROGRAMS FOR ELEVATOR CONSTRUCTOR MECHANICS, ASSISTANT MECHANICS, HELPERS AND APPRENTICES.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING PROGRAMS WERE PROVIDED TO ELEVATOR CONSTRUCTOR MECHANICS, ASSISTANT MECHANICS, HELPERS, AND APPRENTICES THROUGH EMPLOYER CONTRIBUTIONS TO A TRUST FUND, APTITUDE TEST RECEIPTS, AND REIMBURSEMENTS FOR EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS. THIS IS ESSENTIALLY THE ONLY PROGRAM SERVICE OF THE ORGANIZATION AND ALL OF THE REVENUES AND EXPENSES ARE CONSIDERED TO BE FOR THIS PURPOSE.
