NEIGHBORHOOD ADVISORY COUNCILTHIS PROGRAM PROVIDES SOCIAL SERVICES AND OTHER RESOURCES TO LOW TO MODERATE INCOME RESIDENTS INCLUDING ENERGY AND BUDGET COUNSELING, HOUSING AND SUPPORTIVE ASSISTANCE, RESIDENT SUPPORT, AND YOUTH LEADERSHIP.


COMMERCIAL CORRIDOR REVITALIZATIONTHIS PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO HELP BUILD A "CLEAN & SAFE" NEIGHBORHOOD TO REMOVE BLIGHT AND INCORPORATE SECURITY MEASURES, ASSIST BUSINESSES WITH FACADE IMPROVEMENTS AND IMPROVE NICETOWN PARK.IN ADDITION, NTCDC HAS BEEN SELECTED AS THE DEVELOPER (PROJECT USER) FOR THE REDEVELOPMENT OF THE BARRETT PLAYGROUND LOCATED IN THE LOGAN SECTION OF PHILADELPHIA AND FOR REDEVELOPMENT OF THE SHEPARD PLAYGROUND LOCATED IN THE WEST SECTION OF PHILADELPHIA. THESE PROJECTS INVOLVE THE MULTIMILLION DOLLAR REDEVELOPMENT OF THE BUILDINGS, PLAY AREAS AND FIELDS AT THE SITES. NTCDC IS ALSO RESPONSIBLE FOR COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT RELATED TO THE PROJECTS IN BOTH AREAS.


REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENTTHIS PROGRAM HAS TWO COMPONENTS; THE TARGETED HOUSING PRESERVATION PROGRAM AND THE HOUSING REVITALIZATION PROGRAM. THE TARGETED HOUSING PRESERVATION PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE AFFORDABLE HOUSING THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OF NEW HOMES. THE HOUSING REVITALIZATION PROGRAM IS DESIGNED TO PRESERVE EXISTING HOUSING STOCK UTILIZING ENERGY EFFICIENCY WHENEVER POSSIBLE TO ESTABLISH SUSTAINABILITY. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION DEVELOPS LOW-INCOME HOUSING TAX CREDIT PROJECTS.
