Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
Part 3
IN 2022, WE WELCOMED OVER 1,300 VISITORS TO OUR MUSEUM ACROSS 18 OPENING DAYS - 923 ADULTS AND 413 KIDS. VISITORS LEARN ABOUT HOW RAILROADS SHAPED THE ECONOMY AND THE LANDSCAPE OF THE SCHUYLKILL VALLEY, AND HOW WE BUILD AND RUN OUR MODEL RAILROAD THAT REPRESENTS THE REGION. WE ADDED TO OUR COLLECTION OF INTERPRETIVE EDUCATIONAL EXHIBITS ON LOCOMOTIVE PARTS, SIGNALING AND SIGNAGE, RAILROAD-RELATED ART, AND A FILM OF A NIGHT AT OUR CLUB IN THE EARLY 1960'S. WE ALSO SHOWCASE OUR PRESERVED INDUSTRIAL BUILDING, A FORMER TEXTILE MILL WHICH WAS ONCE AN EMPLOYER IN THE COMMUNITY. IN 2022 WE MADE SIGNIFICANT PROGRESS IN BUILDING SCENERY ON THE RAILROAD, AS WELL AS REWIRING AND REBUILDING TRACK FOR MORE RELIABLE OPERATIONS. WE WERE FEATURED ON OUR LOCAL ABC TV AFFILIATE IN FEBRUARY OF 2022.
