"THIS AUDIT YEAR SPEAKUP! CONDUCTED 16 PROGRAMS SERVING 22 DIVERSE SCHOOL COMMUNITIES IN THE REGION. OUR SCHOOL PROFILE IS AS FOLLOWS: 59% OF OUR SCHOOLS ARE PRIVATE / 41% PUBLIC; 86% SUBURBAN /14% URBAN; 59% OF OUR PROGRAMS ARE AT THE HIGH SCHOOL LEVEL / 41% MIDDLE SCHOOL. IN TERMS OF PARTICIPANT TOTALS, SPEAKUP! SUPPORTED OUR PARTNER SCHOOLS TO HAVE YOUTH, EDUCATORS AND PARENTING ADULTS SPEAK UP. WE ENGAGED 433 STUDENTS ON OUR STUDENT LEADERSHIP TEAM. WE TRAINED 258 EDUCATORS IN FACILITATION, 175 CO-FACILITATED EVENTS AND IN TOTAL, 271 EDUCATORS ATTENDED THE 16 FORUMS. TO CONTINUE THE CONVERSATION THROUGH OUR PARENT COFFEE SERIES, WE ADDED MORE IN THE VIRTUAL SETTING AND ENGAGED 149 ADULTS. IMPACT MEASUREMENT SURVEYS SHOWED THAT SPEAKUP! HAS MADE A POSITIVE MEASURABLE IMPACT. AS A RESULT OF SPEAKUP!, 96% OF PARTICIPANTS REALIZED THEY ARE NOT ALONE IN THEIR FEELINGS OR EXPERIENCES, 95% ARE MORE WILLING TO ASK FOR HELP, AND THEY KNOW WHERE TO TURN. 96% OF ADULTS HAVE A MORE POSITIVE VIEW OF STUDENTS AND 97% OF STUDENTS HAVE A MORE POSITIVE VIEW OF ADULTS. 96% OF PARTICIPANTS WILL USE WHAT THEY LEARNED AS SPEAKUP!
