THE BUREAU INCREASES TOURISM IN ITS SERVICE AREA BY PUBLISHING THE ATTRACTIVE SUSQUEHANNA RIVER VALLEY VISITORS GUIDE. OVER 100,000 COPIES OF THE VISITORS GUIDE ARE DISTRIBUTED ANNUALLY. THE BUREAU OPERATES ITS VISITORS CENTER IN LEWISBURG, PA TO ASSIST VISITORS TO THE AREA AND TO PROVIDE INFORMATION THAT HELP TOURISTS BETTER ENJOY THE OPPORTUNITIES THAT EXIST IN ITS SERVICE AREA. THE BUREAU ALSO ADVERTISES IN VARIOUS PERIODICALS AND ENGAGES IN TOURISM MARKETING AND PROMOTIONS THROUGH TRADITIONAL AND NON-TRADITIONAL MEDIA, AND AT TRAVEL SHOWS TO ENHANCE THE TOURISM IN ITS SERVICE AREA.
