TO LEAD A CAMPAIGN TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT THE THREAT OF GLOBAL SCORCHING AND THE CLEAR DEMANDS OF JUDAISM AND OTHER FAITHS TO HEAL AND CARE FOR THE EARTH. THE CAMPAIGN INCLUDES PROGRAMS TO HELP SYNAGOGUES REDUCE THEIR CARBON FOOTPRINTS, INTERFAITH EVENTS AND CELEBRATIONS THAT BUILD GRASSROOTS UNITY AMONG DIFFERENT FAITHS AROUND ADDRESSING GLOBAL SCORCHING, AND ADVOCATING A COMMITMENT BY ALL AMERICANS TO REDUCE OUR OIL CONSUMPTION.


JEWISH MULTICULTURAL NETWORK - EMPHASIZE THE NEED FOR DEVELOPING AND UNDERSTANDING THE PERSPECTIVES OF RACIALLY ETHNIC DIVERSE JEWS WITHIN THE LARGER JEWISH COMMUNITY AND EDUCATING OTHERS ON HOW TO FUNCTION IN AN INCREASINGLY MULTICULTURAL/MULTIETHNIC JEWISH COMMUNITY. ACCORDINGLY, JMN SET OUT TO NURTURE AND ENHANCE JEWISH DIVERSITY THROUGHOUT THE COMMUNITY, AT LARGE, VIA CAPACITY DEVELOPMENT, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT, AND SOCIAL CAPITAL.
