FOUNDED IN 1877, INGLIS HAS BEEN SUPPORTING PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES TO LIVE THE LIVES THEY CHOOSE, WHERE AND HOW THEY CHOOSE. INGLIS IS A NATIONAL LEADER IN PROVIDING COMPREHENSIVE CARE AND SERVICES FOR PEOPLE LIVING WITH MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS, CEREBRAL PALSY, SPINAL CORD INJURIES AND OTHER NEUROLOGICAL DISORDERS RESULTING IN SOME LEVEL OF PARALYSIS AND MOBILITY IMPAIRMENT. FROM ADAPTED TECHNOLOGY, INDEPENDENT LIVING APARTMENTS, AND OTHER COMMUNITY-BASED PROGRAMMING, TO LONG-TERM CARE INGLIS MEETS THE NEEDS OF THE PEOPLE WE SERVE ALONG THE CONTINUUM OF CARE. INGLIS HAS THREE KEY AREAS OF PROGRAMMATIC FOCUS UNDER THE "PARENT" OF INGLIS FOUNDATION, INCLUDING: INGLIS COMMUNITY SERVICES, A COLLECTION OF PROGRAMS THAT SUPPORT PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES WHO CHOOSE TO LIVE INDEPENDENTLY IN THE COMMUNITY; INGLIS HOUSING CORPORATION, THE LARGEST PRIVATE DEVELOPER IN THE PHILADELPHIA AREA OF AFFORDABLE, ACCESSIBLE INDEPENDENT LIVING APARTMENTS FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES; AND INGLIS HOUSE, A LONG-TERM CARE WHEELCHAIR COMMUNITY FOR ADULTS 21 OR BETTER. ALL OF THESE SERVICES ARE SUPPORTED WITH INGLIS' THOUGHT LEADERSHIP AND EXPERTISE IN ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY AS WELL AS A COMMITMENT TO PERSON-CENTERED CARE.DURING FY21, INGLIS SERVED MORE THAN 3,000 PEOPLE DIRECTLY, AND MANY MORE INDIRECTLY THROUGH ITS WEBSITE, WWW.INGLIS.ORG, AND OTHER OUTREACH ACTIVITIES SUPPORTING ITS MISSION TO "ENABLE PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES AND THOSE WHO CARE FOR THEM TO ACHIEVE THEIR GOALS AND LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST."INGLIS FOUNDATION: THE MISSION OF INGLIS FOUNDATION IS TO ENABLE PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES, AND THOSE WHO CARE FOR THEM, TO ACHIEVE THEIR GOALS AND LIVE LIFE TO THE FULLEST. INGLIS PARTNERS WITH THE DISABILITY COMMUNITY TO PROVIDE PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS THAT ENABLE CONSUMERS TO OVERCOME BARRIERS AND TO LIVE LIFE WITH THE GREATEST POSSIBLE INDEPENDENCE AND MOBILITY. INGLIS FOUNDATION PROVIDES OPERATING DEFICIT FUNDING, MANAGEMENT SERVICES, STRATEGIC PLANNING, FUNDRAISING, PUBLIC RELATIONS, AND MARKETING SUPPORT FOR INGLIS AND RELATED ORGANIZATIONS. INGLIS COMMUNITY SERVICES: THE NEWLY FORMED, WHOLLY OWNED NONPROFIT SUBSIDIARY OF INGLIS FOUNDATION, INGLIS COMMUNITY SERVICES (ICS), BECAME A UNIQUE CORPORATE STRUCTURE UNDER THE INGLIS UMBRELLA AS OF OCTOBER 2020. ICS INCLUDES THE SUITE OF LONG-TERM SUPPORTS AND SERVICES, BEHAVIORAL HEALTH, HOUSING SERVICES AND ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY PROGRAMS THAT ENABLE INDIVIDUALS WITH PHYSICAL DISABILITIES TO LIVE WELL IN THE COMMUNITY. CERTAIN ICS PROGRAMS ALSO SERVE OLDER ADULTS AND/OR SUPPORT A SMALLER SUBSET OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE INTELLECTUAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL (IDD) DISABILITIES AND BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CHALLENGES.SERVICES PROVIDED-ASSISTIVE TECH SERVICES, INCLUDING INGLIS HOUSE PROGRAMS AS WELL AS COMMUNITY-BASED CLIENTS (ATS) -CARE MANAGEMENT AND RESIDENT SERVICES COORDINATION (CM/RSC)-COMMUNITY EMPLOYMENT SERVICES (CES)-CONNECTIONS DAY PROGRAM, AN ENHANCED DAY PROGRAM MODEL (DAY PROGRAM) -JOURNEYS, INGLIS' BEHAVIORAL HEALTH MOBILE PEER SUPPORT PARTNERSHIP (JOURNEYS)-SELF-DETERMINATION HOUSING OF PENNSYLVANIA, INTEGRATED INTO INGLIS THROUGH A MERGER IN FEBRUARY 2021 (SDHP). INDIVIDUALS OR AGENCIES CURRENTLY SUPPORTED THROUGH ICS: -2,670-ASSISTIVE TECH SOLUTIONS: 376 (208 UNIQUE VISITS IN COMPUTER LAB, 160 IN IRS, 8 IN COMMUNITY)-CARE MANAGEMENT AND RESIDENT SERVICES COORDINATION: 580 (180 IN CM, 400 IN RSCS)-COMMUNITY EMPLOYMENT SERVICES: 64(75 INDIVIDUALS PROJECTED TO SERVE BY END OF FY22)-CONNECTIONS DAY PROGRAM: 25 (30 INDIVIDUALS PROJECTED TO SERVE BY END OF FY22)-JOURNEYS: 18 (PROJECTED TO SERVE 40-50 INDIVIDUALS BY END OF FY22)-SDHP: 1,607(1,513 AGENCIES TRAINED BY RHCS, 78 INDIVIDUALS PERMANENTLY HOUSED THROUGH 811 PRA, 16 HOME MODIFICATIONS COMPLETED IN FY21INGLIS HOUSE: -ORIGINALLY KNOWN AS "THE PHILADELPHIA HOME FOR THE INCURABLES"-ESTABLISHED IN 1877 AT 48TH & DARBY ROADS (WEST PHILADELPHIA)-CURRENT FACILITY BUILT IN 1927-283,000 SQ. THESE COMMUNITIES ARE LOCATED THROUGHOUT GREATER PHILADELPHIA AND IN NEW JERSEY AND PROVIDE ACCESSIBLE HOUSING TO PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES, AS WELL AS AFFORDABLE HOUSING FOR COMMUNITY RESIDENTS.
