THE PROGRAM SERVICE ACTIVITY OF THE COUNCIL IS TO PROMOTE ECONOMIC EDUCATION IN THE COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA BY ENLISTING THE SUPPORT SERVICES OF COLLEGES, BUSINESS, INDUSTRY, INDIVIDUALS AND INTERMEDIARY UNITS.
THE STOCK MARKET GAME IS A TEN WEEK SIMULATION THAT OFFERS PLAYERS A CHANCE TO INVEST A HYPOTHETICAL $100,000 IN THE STOCK MARKET. THE STOCK MARKET GAME EDUCATES STUDENTS IN THE COMMONWELATH OF PENNSYLVANIA ABOUT THE ECONOMIC SYSTEM, SHARPENS DECISION-MAKING SKILLS, AND ENCOURAGES INTEREST IN FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT SKILLS.
