TO MAINTAIN, PRESERVE, AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC HISTORIC PROPERTIES AND LAND KNOWN AS NEWLIN MILL PARK FOR THE PUBLIC'S EDUCATION AND ENJOYMENT. THE PARK IS COMPRISED OF 160 ACRES WITH SEVERAL HISTORIC STRUCTURES - INCLUDING A WORKING WATER POWERED GRIST MILL BUILT IN 1704. APPROXIMATELY 48,000 VISITORS A YEAR ENJOY A VARIETY OF ACTIVITIES INCLUDING ENVIRONMENTAL AND HISTORICAL EDUCAITON, NATURE TRAILS, FISHING PONDS, BASEBALL DIAMONDS, AND PICNIC AREAS.
