TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE BY PROVIDING WHOLESOME, AFFORDABLE RECREATION OPPORTUNITIES TO THE CITIZENS OF THE EPHRATA AREA.

Part 3 - Line 4a

THE RECREATION CENTER PROVIDES AQUATIC PROGRAMMING TO MEMBERS AND NON- MEMBERS OF ALL AGES. PROGRAMS INCLUDE CHILD AND ADULT LEARN-TO-SWIM, AQUA FITNESS, LIFESAVING, COMPETITIVE SWIM, SCUBA, LAP SWIM, AND LEISURE SWIM. THE CENTER PROVIDES FACILITIES, EQUIPMENT, AND INSTRUCTION IN YOUTH SPORTS FOR MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS. THESE ACTIVITIES INCLUDE DANCE, SWIMMING, BASKETBALL, LACROSSE, SOCCER, SOFTBALL, VOLLEYBALL, TENNIS, FITNESS AND ARCHERY. THE CENTER PROVIDES FACILITIES, EQUIPMENT, AND COACHING TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY WELLNESS TO MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS OF ALL AGES. PROGRAMS INCLUDE PERSONAL TRAINING, WEIGHT LOSS PROGRAMS, BLOOD PRESSURE SCREENING, BODY FAT TESTS, HEALTHY EATING SEMINARS, FITNESS CLASSES, AND SUPPORT GROUPS. PROGRAM SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE FOR THOSE IN NEED.
