GETTYSBURG COLLEGE, FOUNDED IN 1832, IS A PRIVATE, NONPROFIT INSTITUTION OF HIGHER EDUCATION IN GETTYSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA. THE COLLEGE IS A FOUR-YEAR UNDERGRADUATE RESIDENTIAL COLLEGE OF LIBERAL ARTS AND SCIENCES. THE COLLEGE IS ACCREDITED BY THE MIDDLE STATES COMMISSION ON HIGHER EDUCATION AND OFFERS OVER 50 MAJOR FIELDS OF STUDY LEADING TO A BACHELOR'S DEGREE.
