OUR CARING COMMUNITIES AND SERVICES ASSIST INDIVIDUALS, FAMILIES AND CHILDREN IN REALIZING THEIR POTENTIAL AND ENJOYING THE HIGHEST POSSIBLE QUALITY OF LIFE THROUGH THE TRADITIONS OF FREEMASONRY.
Describe the Organization's Program Activity:
MASONIC VILLAGES EMPLOYED 2,321 INDIVIDUALS. PROVIDED A WIDE VARIETY OF HEALTHCARE AND RESIDENTIAL SERVICES TO APPROXIMATELY 2,777 SENIORS IN INDEPENDENT LIVING, PERSONAL CARE, AND SKILLED NURSING CARE FACILITIES ON FIVE CAMPUSES IN PENNSYLVANIA. PROVIDED CARE AND CARE NOT FULLY REIMBURSED BY MEDICAL ASSISTANCE TOTALING APPROXIMATELY 40.1 MILLION. SUPPORTED 1,612 WIDOWS THROUGH THE MASONIC WIDOWS PROGRAM AND PROVIDED 107,083 IN HOME ASSISTANCE THROUGH THE OUTREACH PROGRAM. CONDUCTED SEVERAL OTHER VITAL CHARITABLE PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES, SUCH AS THE MASONIC BLOOD AND ORGAN DONOR PROGRAM.
MASONIC YOUTH FOUNDATION EMPOWERED 1,696 YOUTH THROUGH ITS LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS; AWARDED 163,350 IN SCHOLARSHIP FUNDS; TRAINED 1,579 INDIVIDUALS AT VIRTUAL AND IN PERSON EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS; AND SUPPORTED 650 MEMBERS ACROSS 5 YOUTH GROUPS.
CHILDREN'S HOME PROVIDED A HOMELIKE ATMOSPHERE AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR A RESIDENT POPULATION FOR UP TO 40 CHILDREN THROUGHOUT THE YEAR FREE OF CHARGE. THROUGHOUT 2023, 9 NEW CHILDREN WERE WELCOMED; 6 COLLEGE STUDENTS WERE SUPPORTED; AND 2 HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AND 3 COLLEGE STUDENTS GRADUATED.
MASONIC LIBRARY AND MUSEUM MAINTAINED AND PRESERVED THE MASONIC TEMPLE IN PHILADELPHIA, A NATIONAL HISTORIC LANDMARK. CONDUCTED TOURS FOR OVER 13,378 VISITORS. PRESERVED AND ARCHIVED OVER 700 MASONIC OBJECTS,ADDED 74 NEW BOOKS; ANSWERED 418 RESEARCH REQUESTS; AND CATALOGED 1,639 MANUSCRIPTS; AND CURATED OVER 135,000 OBJECTS AND 105,000 DOCUMENTS AND MANUSCRIPTS.
