FREE EVENING MEALSBOL PROVIDES FREE EVENING MEALS WITHIN A COMMUNITY OF SHARING AND CARING. IN 2021 WE SERVED APPROXIMATELY 47,400 EVENING MEALS, LUNCHES AND SNACK MEALS TO LOCAL WORKING FAMILIES, SENIORS, PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES AND HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS.
FOOD PANTRYIN 2021, THE FOOD PANTRY SERVED 37,700 HOUSEHOLDS COMPRISED OF 107,800 ADULTS, CHILDREN AND SENIOR CITIZENS, WITH 83,700 BAGS OF GROCERIES.THE INDIVIDUALS THAT THIS PROGRAM SERVED INCLUDE SINGLE MOTHERS AND THEIR CHILDREN, LOW WAGE EARNERS, HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS, ELDERS AND DISABLED ADULTS ON FIXED INCOMES, AND RECENT IMMIGRANTS. OF THESE, 60% WERE FROM MALDEN, 31% FROM EVERETT, 6% FROM MEDFORD, 2% FROM MELROSE, 1% FROM SAUGUS, WINCHESTER, N. READING, READING, STONEHAM AND WAKEFIELD.
