CEREMONIES AND AWARDS - 463 WHITE COAT CEREMONIES AT 368 SCHOOLS AND NUMEROUS ADDITIONAL AWARDS AIMED AT ELEVATING HUMANISM IN HEALTHCARE SO THAT HUMANISTIC CARE BECOMES PART OF PHYSICIANSNURSES' PRACTICE AND IS REFLECTED IN THE CARE DELIVERED TO PATIENTS.
PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT AND RESEARCH - THE GOLD FOUNDATION DEVELOPS, PILOTS, AND SUPPORTS PROGRAMS DESIGNED TO TEACH THE HABITS OF HUMANISM (E.G. COMPASSION, EMPATHIC COMMUNICATION, INTEGRITY, WELL-BEING, AND RESPECT FOR PATIENTS', FAMILIES', AND COLLEAGUES' VALUES AND CONCERNS) TO DOCTORS AND NURSES IN TRAINING.
