PROVISION OF HOMEBUYER AND HOMEOWNERSHIP EDUCATION PROGRAMS TO LOW AND MODERATE INCOME CONSUMERS IN THE BOSTON AREA INCLUDING A MATCHED SAVINGS PROGRAM FOR FIRST GENERATION HOMEBUYERS, AS WELL AS ORGANIZING GRASSROOTS SUPPORT FOR AFFORDABLE HOUSING AND CONDUCTING RESEARCH ON IMPORTANT HOUSING ISSUES. PUBLICIZE AFFORDABLE HOMEOWNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH A HOST WEBSITE WITH LISTING OF ALL AFFORDABLE HOMEOWNERSHIP UNITS IN MA. IN FISCAL YEAR 2022, MAHA GRADUATED 3,927 PEOPLE FROM 48 DIFFERENT HOMEBUYER AND HOMEOWNER EDUCATION CLASSES. MAHA ALSO PROVIDES SERVICES TO HOMEOWNERS THROUGH THE HOMEOWNERSHIP ASSISTANCE FUND.
