CENTER FOR WILDLIFE'S MISSION IS TO CULTIVATE AND STRENGTHEN RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN HUMANS, WILDLIFE, AND THE ENVIRONMENT RESULTING IN A HEALTHIER, MORE SUSTAINABLE COMMUNITY.

TO PROVIDE THE FULL SUITE OF MEDICAL TREATMENT AND REHABILITATION SERVICES TO UP TO 2,500 INJURED AND ORPHANED WILD ANIMALS SO THAT THEY MAY RETURN BACK TO THE WILD. THE CLINIC PROGRAM ALSO PROVIDES INTERN AND APPRENTICESHIP HANDS-ON CAREER TRAINING TO 35 COLLEGE STUDENTS AND YOUNG PROFESSIONALS, FIELDS 15,000 CALLS FROM THE PUBLIC ANNUALLY, AND ASSISTS LOCAL AND STATE WILDLIFE AGENCIES WITH RESPONSE TO INJURED AND ORPHANED WILD ANIMALS AND EMERGENT DISEASE. ADDITIONALLY, THE CLINIC PROGRAM IS NOW ENGAGED IN COLLECTING AND SHARING MISSING BASELINE DATA ON NATURAL HISTORY AND EMERGENT DISEASE IN ORDER TO INFORM PUBLIC POLICY.
TO PRESENT OVER 500 EDUCATIONAL AND OUTREACH PROGRAMS TO 25,000 CHILDREN AND ADULTS EACH YEAR, PROMOTING STEWARDSHIP, EMPATHY, AND CONNECTION TO THE ENVIRONMENT. OUR NEW SPACE ALSO OFFERS AN ADA ACCESSIBLE NATURE CENTER AND TRAILS, ALONG WITH AN OUTDOOR CAMPUS INCLUDING NON-RELEASABLE WILD ANIMAL ENCLOSURES AND INTERACTIVE LEARNING EXHIBITS, POLLINATOR GARDENS, AND TRAILS THROUGH THE MOUNT AGAMENTICUS FOREST ECOSYSTEM. THIS ALLOWS US TO HOST OVER 25,000 VISITORS OF ALL AGES AND DEMOGRAPHICS ANNUALLY WITH THE GOAL OF OFFERING NATURE CONNECTION AND EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING.
