PUBLIC EDUCATION PROVIDES MENTAL HEALTH EDUCATION, AS WELL AS INFORMATION AND RESOURCE INFORMATION, TO FAMILIES DEALING WITH INDIVIDUALS OF ALL AGES WITH MENTAL ILLNESS AND/OR SEVERE EMOTIONAL DISTURBANCE.
ADVOCACY SERVICES PROVIDE EDUCATION AND TRAINING OF FAMILY MEMBERS AS ADVOCATES TO ENCOURAGE POLICY LEADERS TO SUPPORT TREATMENT AND SUPPORT SERVICES FOR PEOPLE WITH MENTAL ILLNESS.
