THE CASA PROJECT: THE CASA PROJECT IS DESIGNED TO WORK WITH COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTERS, PUBLIC SCHOOL DISTRICTS AND EARLY INTERVENTION WORKERS TO HELP IDENTIFY HOUSEHOLDS THAT ARE HAVING A HOUSING CRISIS AND THEN OFFER QUICK ASSISTANCE TO ENSURE THAT THEY REMAIN STABLY HOUSED.
EDUCATION: THE MASSACHUSETTS COALITION FOR THE HOMELESS HAS A RICH THREE- DECADE HISTORY AS A LEADER IN THE FIGHT TO PREVENT AND END HOMELESSNESS HERE IN THE COMMONWEALTH. THE AGENCY IS STEADFAST IN OUR BELIEF THAT HOMELESSNESS CAN BE RESOLVED BY SUPPLYING SAFE, AFFORDABLE, PERMANENT HOUSING FOR THE LOWEST INCOME HOUSHOLDS AND PROVIDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS TO BUILD ECONOMIC STABILITY. TO ACHIEVE THESE GOALS, THE COALITION AND OUR MEMBERS UNDERTAKE CAMPAIGNS IN SUPPORT OF AFFORDABLE HOUSING, INCOME AND BENEFIT PROGRAMS, ACCESS TO EDUCATION, AND EMERGENCY SHELTER.
A BED FOR EVERY CHILD INITIATIVE: THE ORGANIZATION RAISES FUNDS TO PURCHASE A TWIN MATTRESS, FRAME, AND LINENS FOR EACH STUDENT REFERRED TO THE ORGANIZATION BY ITS PARTNERS.
