TO FOSTER IN STUDENTS A SENSE OF WONDER, MEANING AND COMPASSION IN THEIR LIVES, SO THAT THEY MAY FREELY MEET THEIR DESTINIES. FOUNDED IN 1984 AS MERRICONEAG WALDORF SCHOOL, MAINE COAST WALDORF SERVES SOME 280 STUDENTS FROM EARLY CHILDHOOD THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL. OUR PLAYGROUNDS, FIELDS, AND TRAILS ARE ALSO OUR CLASSROOMS. FROM EARLY CHILDHOOD THROUGH TWELTH GRADE, STUDENTS ENJOY OUR STATE-OF-THE-ART SCHOOL BUILDINGS SET ON 75 ACRES IN RURAL FREEPORT.
