COMMUNITY SERVICES: MASJIDULLAH INVESTS TIME AND RESOURCES IN ITS ESTABLISHED FOOD PROGRAM WHICH HELPS PEOPLE IN THE LOCAL AREA SUFFERING FROM FOOD INSECURITIES. WE PROVIDE ASSISTANCE BY OFFERING BOTH WEEKLY AND MONTHLY FOOD DELIVERIES AND GIVEAWAYS. WE SERVE AS A LOCALLY RECOGNIZED EMERGENCY FOOD PANTRY HELPING TO DISTRIBUTE AND DELIVER THOUSANDS OF POUNDS OF FOOD TO THE COMMUNITY EVERY YEAR. THE FOOD PROGRAM ALSO OFFERS NUTRITION EDUCATION AND SUPPORT TO FAMILIES, SENIORS AND INDIVIDUALS. THIS YEAR, WE WERE ABLE TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF FAMILIES WE SERVICED BY MORE THAN 30% FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR. WE INCREASED OUR WEEKLY FOOD GIVEAWAY, WHICH SERVICED SENIORS AND FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN. WE INCREASED OUR MONTHLY FOOD DELIVERIES, WHICH SPECIFICALLY SERVICED HOMEBOUND SENIORS. THROUGH OUR FOOD PANTRY SERVICES, WE SERVICED FAMILIES WITH FOOD INSECURITIES BY ENABLING THEM TO FILL GAPS IN THEIR WEEKLY GROCERIES. WE WERE ALSO ABLE TO PARTNER WITH OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS THIS YEAR TO HELP SERVICE THE INCREASE IN NUMBERS WE SAW OVER THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. THE PARTNERSHIPS ALLOWED US TO STRATEGICALLY FULFILL OUR MISSION.
RELIGIOUS EDUCATION: MASJIDULLAH PROVIDES RELIGIOUS EDUCATION AND PROGRAMMING THAT SERVES CHILDREN, ADULTS AND SENIORS. THE RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES PROMOTE SPIRITUAL HEALTH FOR THE WHOLE INDIVIDUAL. WE ALSO ARE A LEADER IN CULTIVATING HEALTHY DIALOGUE BETWEEN PEOPLE OF ALL RELIGIOUS POSITIONS IN ORDER TO FOSTER COMMUNITY LIFE AND GOOD CITIZENSHIP. THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, WE CONTINUED OUR COMMITMENT TO GROWING OUR YOUTH PROGRAMS AND INITIATIVES ALL AIMED AT FULFILLING THE RELIGIOUS EDUCATION FACET OF OUR MISSION. THIS YEAR, WE SAW A 15% INCREASE IN OUR RELIGIOUS EDUCATION GEARED TOWARD THE YOUTH OF OUR COMMUNITY. WE ALSO SAW A GROWTH IN THE REACH OF OUR ADULT RELIGIOUS EDUCATION AS WELL. THE GROWTH IN BOTH OF THESE AREAS HAVE ALLOWED US TO CONTINUE TO BE A STRONG SOURCE OF ISLAMIC EDUCATION FOR OUR COMMUNITY.
