COASTAL HEALTHCARE ALLIANCE (CHA) WAS FORMED IN 2015 WHEN WALDO COUNTY HEALTHCARE, INC. MERGED INTO PEN BAY HEALTHCARE AND WAS RENAMED COASTAL HEALTHCARE ALLIANCE (CHA). CHA IS A COMMUNITY HEALTH CARE SYSTEM DEDICATED TO CARING FOR THE SICK AND INJURED AND TO IMPROVING THE HEALTH AND QUALITY OF LIFE OF THE PEOPLE OF MID-COAST MAINE. CHA PROVIDES SUPPORT SERVICES TO SEVERAL OF ITS AFFILIATES INCLUDING WALDO COUNTY GENERAL HOSPITAL, COASTAL MEDICAL CARE, WALDO COUNTY HEALTHCARE MANAGEMENT COMPANY, PENOBSCOT BAY MEDICAL CENTER, QUARRY HILL AND PEN BAY WALDO HEALTHCARE FOUNDATION.
